I'm new to the list and ready to buy my first ibook.
My home computer is an old 7100 machine with system
8.5. It is networked with a Windows machine so I'll
need an ethernet connection.
I primarily want to run Filemaker and Flash MX, as
well as general word processing.
Has anyone used

discount knocks a couple hundred or so clams off the price. I'd look
into buying a new one with a student discount.
