Have you checked the IOExpert driver?

That's the conclusion I've come to, as well.
Thanks Laurent.
I'll try to get the Buffalo card which they say is supported natively

Yes, if someone figures this out, either with some USB or Firewire option or
using Optical cable, I'd love to know. I have a pre-USB Sony Minidisk unit
that has an interface and also an Optical cable input but so far as I know I've
never found a way to directly interface it with the Mac. That's
I have the newer USB NetMD recorder, and that too will not work with a
Mac. I've even tried hooking it up using VPC 6.1 and Windows 2000
without any luck. My solution to get a $100 latop PC on eBay (Toshiba
266MHz Tecra 550) and use that for loading music onto my minidiscs.

Hi all.
Today began like any other day but I'm having an electriconics meltdown

I tried to replace my two vcrs with a dual deck Go video and now none

I am running 10.2.3. I have a cable modem hooked up to a D-Link
wireless router and using an Apple airport card. Many times when I
wake up my Pismo it won't pick up the wireless connection until I
disconnect the modem, then the router, plug them back in and turn
Airport back on. This only
Could my Pismo be dead (it was unused for several months) because it
needs it PRAM reset?
Do I do this with a paperclip and keyboard combination?
Thanks again,
Donald

Hi Folks
Sorry for the length of this Email but I am trying to give some
background ...
BACKGROUND:
My Pismo has been giving relatively troublefree service for about 3.5
years:

Hi Folks
Thanks for the suggestions Laurent. I agree that if
there were loose connections, symptons would be likely to

Hi Folks.
It's a small world.
I've a Kanga G3 Powerbook I'm trying to repair for my dad.
It was given to him after a history of trouble switching on, no battery
life etc.
It will not switch on from battery.
It will not switch on from the power-adapter.
The sleep indicator is constantly lit. The

With regard to a cheap pc for misc. non-mac stuff...
What would be the minimum system requirements and software to look for,
so one wouldn't be buying something too outdated to be useful?
What would be the decent inexpensive used pc laptops to watch for?
Or desktops for that matter? I have a

I have come across numerous reports that contradict this. I've been
