Greetings
Half of the middle row of letter keys on my Wallstreet stopped
producing yesterday- the first 7 in the row... any way to fix them?
I hooked up an external keyboard and all the letters work on that so
that's good- just clumsy...
Thanks,
Ed Z

Possibly, except for the smart compression algorithm.

Of all the Mac OS 10.4.x threads and articles I have read no one has
mentioned the NUMBER ONE PLUS to Tiger.
I have had the install media on my desk for weeks, afraid to take
the plunge. I installed Tiger for Spotlight and then found out that
Spotlight does not support M$ Entourage.

The product blurb does say NEW! Compress and copy an entire 9 GB

I have a Wallstreet loaded with Panther (running very well actually)
and would like to install Tiger. I am using xPostFacto of course.
I have the DVD install disk and therein lies the problem. How do I
install Tiger with no DVD drive. I know I can get the CD disks but
that is not an
Since there's been a fair bit of discussion of Wallstreet upgrades
lately I thought I'd share this with y'all. In following up on Mad
Dog's tip that Daystar/XLR8 will make a G4 upgrade for your WS if asked
(thanks, Tom!), I emailed Daystar yesterday to inquire about costs.
Well, it looks

Yes, in fact with OS 9 it will work with the Airport software and
I desperately need to figure out how to record phone conversations

I am wondering if there are or were any updates for the ATY Rage M3
display cards?
I am sure this is a old and dumb question, but i can only see updates
for desktops. Notebooks with ATI graphics has no information.

This limit is a hardware restriction of Old World machines.
Beige and earlier desktops and Wallstreet and earlier laptops have an 8GB
limitation for the boot partition.
BW and later desktops and Lombard and later laptops
Is pretty easy. Depends a bit on your OS.
Running Tiger you can fax via the print menu. Take any document on
your screen, tell it to print and then in the print dialog box you'll
see a PDF button at the bottom. Click on that to open your PDF
options and you'll see one that says Fax PDF.
