Somehow something sticky got underneath the trackpad button of my
PowerBook G3 and I was wondering what the best way to clean it would
be. Do I have take the entire top section off or is there an easier way?

I am using a Firewire card from OrangeMicro in my Lombard and I am
running 10.2 and it is working fine. I was actually surprised to see a
little card icon in my menu next to the volume control after I
installed 10.2.
As to why your card is not showing up, I have no idea. Sorry.
