I've now tried another screen pulled from a working unit. It also doesn't
work. Since the ribbon cable comes with the screen they both got swapped in
the process. As such, I'm inclined to think the trouble is
elsewhere...perhaps internal to the powerbook? Alternatively, is there any

I've got a Wallstreet 266 here that has lost its video on the lcd screen.
However, it has video on crt monitors hooked to its external monitor port.
I'm puzzled as to how that could be. Does anyone have ideas on where the
video circuitry for the lcd and external ports are located on the board?
I've had a bottom of the line G3 series Wallstreet given to me. I helped
get it to boot some time back and pulled data off of it...so I know it had a
dead pram battery then. I eventually got it to boot then by leaving it
plugged in for a while...but this time its sat plugged in for over 24
