Hi -
Since last night, I have had problems with my internet connection.
However, it works fine in Classic (9.2.2). I am running OS X 10.4.2.
The page in Safari starts to load, but then does nothing - just stops
loading. Network Diagnostics says that the internet connection is fine.
I believe that
Have you tried another browser to see if the problem might be with Safari?
Personally, I don't use Safari any more--found too many times it
wouldn't work right for me. I switch off between FireFox and iCab
when I want to do any online work.
Well, Safari was working. Now it only loads part
Have you tried other web pages in Safari? Does your email client
still work? Have you tried another web browser?

None of Apple's OS X internet-based applications (like Mail, Safari,
Software Update) work on the internet. Yet, the network repair utility

Hi Everyone – I have fixed the problem. I recently placed a new
router on my network. Last night, I updated the firmware, and this
must have caused a problem. However, I downgraded to the original
firmware, and all is well now. Thanks for all of the suggestions and
help.

Hello!
I have an iBook G4 that has OS 10.3.9. It came with OS 10.3.3 on DVD. I
bought a set disks of from an iBook G4 that have 10.4.2. I would
imagine that these two would work hand in hand, as I have an iBook G4
and the disks are from an iBook G4.
I would like to know if there is any way
Well, do you think that it would matter if say the iBook it was from
had a newer CPU or if the Gestalt ID was different?
I guess I don't know how specific Apple gets when they make these disks.
I liked the days when system disks were almost like universal disks.
I don't see why it wouldn't
Hi! I'm new to the list, so greetings! I have a
problem that is probably easily fixed and all I need
is a little help.
So here's the story:
I obtained an eMac DVD which contains the install for
10.4. I would like to get this on my ibook g4, but I

Hello,
I have a problem with my iBook's Keyboard. I've tried to take the keyboard off,
but I can't seem to get it off. I referred to the manual. The manual said that
you need to twist the little lock by the num lock key. I did that and no dice
yet. I've got it once before, but nothing after
