No DVD player on my Pismo

When I installed OS 10.3 the DVD player on my G3 Pismo was broken. I bought a replacement DVD/CD-RW module and I can read data CDs and DVDs, I can also burn CDs with toast but I can't find Apple DVD player on my system: A DVD does not play when inserted and there's no DVD player in the Applicatio

Last week I tried to find some honest Powerbook deals on Ebay. Among tens of fake 1GHz 15" and 17" there were a couple of 667MHz 15" from people that accepted direct collect or Escrow. I made a few bids. The prices ended up close to the price I can get a new 1GHz for so I gave up. What is bothering

The Pismo battery is very easy to dismantle and reassemble with no damage, just peal one sticker and squeeze the white plastic pieces with a screw driver, to close it just press both parts together. The cells are easy to replace for someone with a soldering iron. We just need to find a source for L
