Hi, I'm trying to delete a corrupted tiff file off my iBook desktop and throw out in the trash can. When I empty the trash can, a message says that the tiff file is in use so it can't be deleted from the trash can. I tried restarting my iBook a couple of times. But the message is the same.

Dear Listers, I recently hooked up my new iBook to high speed Internet cable via a new cable splitter. The TV and DVD player is also on the cable splitter. it worked find for 4 days. Then when I booted up, today, on my laptop, there was no response from the modem and I could not get online.

Ok, I test drove the Wall street PowerBook that is for sale for $200 today. The date and time is not holding, so I assume it needs a Pram battery. The guy told me laptop don't have a PRAM battery. Is that true? If it does have a PRAM battery, I need a webpage for PRAM batteries with prices.
