Slow internet on Tibook?

I have cable internet at home. And I've realized that my speeds are considerably slower than my parents broadband and my father-in-law's broadband connection. I have a Tibook 500. Is there something wrong with my powerbook that is slowing things down? I have Panther also. Is there out of date hardw

Ibook keychain problems

Powerline Network

VHS to DVD

So whats the easiest way to convert all my VHS tapes to DVD? I have access to an external dvd burner and a vcr. But how do I connect them to my titanium? And do I need to burn the dvd in a certain way to play like a regular dvd? (I have TOAST 6 also). Thanks. -- G-Books is sponsored by
