I have had a rethink with my father's iBook (possibly a PC laptop :o/ )
If one of these would work he could easily switch between the iBook and the laptop, whereas the AirPort card is restricted to the iBook.
QUESTION:
How compatible is a Mac running OS X with the USB->802.11b adapters ?
