Sounds like the power supply. Monitor repairs are usually not cost effect. These
weren't great monitors to begin with. We've got two of them here. I'd say buy a new,
better monitor.

A little off-topic but since I didn't know where to start, I thought I would
give it a try here.
I bought a used Apple Studio Display 21" about a year ago. It was working
fine although there has always been a slight problems with some areas on the
monitor that were slightly darker. Geometry adjust
