Count another satisfied upgrader. No problems here, and some minor speed
improvements noted.

I haven't had any of those issues with Mail. I''ve done all those
actions routinely since upgrading, and have yet to have it freeze or kill
me with the spinning beach ball. It's about as snappy as it ever was on
my Pismo 500 1gig with a 32 gig IBM drive.

Apple techs have told me conflicting things about running OS X without
having OS 9 installed. One said, no problem, the other said that there'd
be some problems but wouldn't get specific. My Applecare call was about

I'm writing to ask if anyone is having problems using OS X 10.1.5. My
mother-in-law was having some problems with her computer either after
upgrading or after a failed upgrade to 10.1.5.
Yes, I and many others have noticed a lot of problems after 10.1.5, you're
not alone.

Every update to OS X 10.1 has only brought better performance and
stability to all of my computers. I have never, in my life, heard of
someone at Apple ever admitting an earlier version of Mac OS is in any way
better than a newer one...
Apple won't come out and tell a press magazine that,
