Basilisk II in panther

Has anyone succeeded in getting Basilisk II to run in Panther. I copied the ROM off of my LC 580 and the program seems to start to work, but all I get is a black screen, and that's where it stays. I followed the how to, but I never get more than a black screen. Any suggestions would be great. I
