Kyle, Is the battery white, marked model:M6392 or more of a silver color? If it's silver, it's an older battery for the first generation iBooks and has probably gone bad. I had four like that and they were replaced under Apple's 1 year warranty (I have a Tangerine 300 and a Graphite 466SE). An
