I've got a Pismo, running 10.1.4. I also have an external Firewire hard
drive. Over the weekend, I reinitialized it with 9.2.2. My plan was to
boot from that hard drive whenever I wanted to run OS9. However, when I
hold down Option on startup, the external drive doesn't appear. If I start
You probably will have to select the drive using the DA. The one thing I
have not been able to do is boot OS X from my external f/w drive. This works
with 10.0.3 but as soon as 10.1 is applied it's a no go. Wonder if this has
been fixed with 10.1.3 and beyond?
