I've been meaning to ask if anyone know what the problem is with the titanium powerbooks and their inability to read DVD-RW discs. I have some I've burnt at 1x that won't be recognized in my PB G4 / 400.
The drive is the "MATSHITADVD-ROM SR-8187" Rev: HA 18 Can the firmware of this model perhaps be updated to recognize DVD-RWs? I tried to google but didn't find much conclusive.
