Help.

I believe that I have a dead modem on my Graphite base
station, after a recent storm.

The wireless network works, and I tested the phone
line and it also works. But I cannot get out onto the
internet. And all 3 laptops at our house "hang" for a
minute after trying, before turning loose to accept
further input.

I have taken the Base station apart and cannot see any
burns or shorts. But I thought that I would submit
this to the "team" before trying to buy another modem
to replace this faulty one. Have I missed any other
options? (Short of turning this into a Star Trek
prop.)

Mike
