Why don't you just get a wireless keyboard and mouse?
I want to mount the powerbook display into something else and have the
keyboard/trackpad seperate. It won't be no ordinary Mac...

able to separate, i.e. install the screen in a wall and
have the keyboard/trackpad further away that the
standard setup allows.
Question: Is it a case of just extending all the connections
between computer and screen or ?

Why don't you just get a wireless keyboard and mouse?
To separate the Wallstreet you'd need a hard to get extension cable. You
can solder the cable yourself but I'd say there is a significant chance
the Powerbook would be damaged in the process.
