Gary... I had this problem (couldn't connect or connect but disconnected after a few minutes) (Ti 400 9.1). I eventually tried connecting with a second phone line in the house and problem gone. The Earthlink people said there was no problem on their end... I didn't believe them but find out they were right. Having my dedicated line wiring re-done next week.
