Thanks for the help. I had it apart twice and made sure all parts
were seated firmly. On a brighter note, I had the AC adapter checked,
it's bad, no output power. Now to get another...

I think the power connection on my Lombard 400 may
need to be resoldered. (It will only charge when the
laptop is upside down.) I made a half-hearted attempt
at taking the laptop apart yesterday, but need some
instruction. Any experience?
