On the Lombard, do I have to open it from the bottom, or can I just pop up the keyboard? I can do a 190 rebuild pretty quickly, but I know nothing about how the Lombard is arranged, other than how to swap processors, RAM and a HD. Thanks for the suggestion, and the hope that I won't have to

Both my Pismo and Lombard have a almost an inch of play in them if measured at the top. I have had the lombard apart to the hinges on the bottom to replace the power board. The screws for the bottom of the hinges are on the rear of the PB. Looking at the ServManual the display end of the

I've been noticing an annoying amount of slack in my Lombard's screen hinges. To put it lightly, I have about 3/4 of an inch play when I have the screen set to any angle. It really gets annoying, which is why I'm consulting the experts. Is there any way to fix this, or is this a normal Lombard
