I have used my 5700 on both 9 and X and found it has a lot of
gliches using the nikon software over the years.. On 9 just let
quictime pick them up and use photoshop to create your files, and on
X use image capture with preview or iphoto or photoshop. I have a

I've tried re-installing Nikon View 6.1 but for some reason, the CF card is
not being seen and the program keeps asking me if I want to format it.
Formatting it only results in the camera erasing all the images and then
needing to be reformatted by the camera.
