First, the stats, so I don't forget later: iBook G4 1.2 GHz 768mb RAM OS X 10.3.4
Prior to buying this little wonder I was informed that it was possible to work around some of the built in limitations that seperate the iBook from the powerbook line. Obviously, I'm thinking on a software level, not hardware. In particular, I was wondering about the display capabilities: Going beyond 1024x768 would be very nice, and also the ability to use monitor spanning, not just mirroing. The reason I ask is because several months back I was told there are "hack" that will let me pull these two things off. BTW, Thanks to the help of those on this list, and other LEM lists, I have an Airport Extreme Base Station on it's way, and hopefully in the next few days I will be starting my own home wireless network with the knowledge I've accumulated.
