Hi Andrew, I have a Mainstreet with the 12" screen, and put the same question to a technician who does this conversion, here is his reply: You can put the 13" on ok, but all the plastics and the ribbons, hinges, and invertor must be changed as well.. It's a lot of work and hassle.. I charge $500
