Does anyone know if the clamshell CDROM is specific to the iBook - or
is there a standard form factor that will work? Thanks for your help.
Modern standard drives will work, but you'll have problems making the bezel
fit unless you use the same make and model. IIRC they need to be set to
slave

Look at Apple System Profiler or whatever it is called under OS X ?
