Thanks a lot for posting this! I just e-mailed the co. That now has had my iBook for 2 months, to ask them to check if I have this battery as well. My iBook gets so hot I almost burn myself touching it... None of my Power Books has been this way. My iBook was purchased in Hong Kong though, not in the US, but who knows if it is the same battery anyway...
