Is there any way to completely shut off the Lombard display when using an external monitor on OS X? I want to set it up where it only drives my desktop monitor (CTX 17", 1280x1024). I've got it working, but to get it at full resolution, I have to set it up to have the Lombard screen off to the side and the desktop with the menu bar and dock. I've tried mirroring the displays, but when I set it to 1280x1024, there's a large black box surrounding the view on the monitor, and the laptop is showing fine.

Any ideas?
Caleb
