I found it in the Applications folder. It's
called Sound Studio.
SimpleSound is just those beep noises...not much help there for my recording
purposes.
I guess there must be a yahoolist for my G3 beige...I have some
configuration questions...because some websites don't fully load. Like
paypal

Yes, SimpleSound does allow you to manage your Alert Sounds, but if you will
open the application and type command N, you can record and save sound
bites

SimpleSound comes with OS 9. I think it can be found in your Apple Extras
folder.
