I've had an occasional and strange sound issue where in X and 9, the sound I & O on my Pismo seems completely disabled. Somehow, near as I can tell, it is locked into the modem. Then I do a combo of Mac Janitor, permission repairs, and reassign sound source to cd...that works...what gives?
