Sorry if this is obvious... I'm running OS X 10.2.5 on my Pismo. It's always run fine on the machine, but recently I've started getting a wait cursor when I start up some applications. Things like Terminal and Safari will load up and display, then hang with the wait cursor for almost a minute. With Terminal, I won't get the command prompt until the wait cursor goes away. I haven't run any software updates in a while, the last one was several weeks before this started happening. Running top doesn't show anything hogging a bunch of resources. Restarting the PB doesn't resolve the issue, either. I'm pretty familiar with Unix, but new to OS X. Does anyone have any ideas for things to check?
