My son broke the connector to his charger where it plugs into the PowerBook.
I found a replacement plug at Radio Shack (3/32 stereo plug). What I need to
know is the polarity of the 3 segments of the tip so I can solder it onto
the wire. I don't care about the status lights I just want to be able to
charge the battery and run the machine.

All of the 65watt chargers should be the same. I just don't have access to
one right now. Its a 550mhz TiBook.
