I have a Matshita UJ-810B DVD-R/W CD-R/W drive I installed in the expansion
bay unit in my Pismo. For the most part I'm happy with the drive. It's
listed as a 1x DVD-R, 1x DVD-RW, 16x CD-R, 8x CD-RW burner and all those
speeds work in Toast *except* for the 16x CD-R. Toast only gives me the
option of up to 8x speed. In both 9.2.2 and 10.3.3., using Toast 5.2.3.
Never seen this problem before. I've tried with different media, up to 48x.
I don't have Toast 6 to try.
It seems like a problem with Toast, though, as Dragon Burn X (demo) lets me
burn at 16x in 10.3.3. I also get a 24x burn option in iTunes in both 9 and
X.

Any ideas?
Chris
