I have been using 2 x 256 in my Lombard for over six months without a

Hello again folks,
Got a Lombard recently and put in two 256MB, a low and a high profile.
Machine gets real hot, then crashes and won't reboot even when cooled
off. When I take out the top chip it works fine.
Is there something wrong with the chips or can't the Lombard handle the
512?
