Hope this won't lead me to get too much hit on the head, but I really need to correct (or adjust) my feedback, so let's go.

Some weeks ago I send a negative feedback concerning an experience I had with WegenerMedia. Some parts of the feedback were correct, some others not.

It was correct that I had been waiting for my package for allmost 4 months, and was not getting any answer from WegenerMedia since some time. I was getting rather upset by the feeling that my money flew away across the ocean, but what I bought with it would not.

David Wedge explained why on this list, and this made me understand the "silence radio" part of the problem.

To make things shorter, he contacted me before I could finalized what I could write him in order to re-establish contact. We had some preliminary mail exchanges (it's ok, I beleive that the glass should allways be emptied before pouring new wine in it... so we emptied glasses...), agreed on how to proceed, and it took less than 10 days before I got the package. It could not have been more efficient.

What could I say, except that I am sincerely sorry by what happened. I don't like being in a position where I kick someone in a difficult position where he can't repond. Even if I did not mean it, I fell in that position; but how could I know. Anyway, even if the damage is done, I wanted to correct a the picture I might have given from David's service.

David's personal problems were not only the cause of all this. An accumulation of problems in mail (both postal and electronic) and maybe customs services seem to have contributed in this for a great part. And of course some residual virulent macho reactions have also helped. I guess that this is how wars usually start... but we avoided that one.

So, if I may conclude, keep on ordering things to David: even if he is human (he can be ill), he's got a great potential of failure recovery. Next time, before seeing red (is this expression used in English ?), I'll send some more "Hey ! Did someone get any recent news about this guy ? He's got my money and I didn't get my stuff yet !", on the list, for example. That might have helped. But it's so easy to be wise when things have happened.

Gérard.

PS: thanks to people who personnaly wrote to me (some in perfect French...) on this toppic and, in doing so, helped in cooling things down.

PS2: I hope that no one from French customs is reading this, but it seems that things go much quicker and that you get rid of taxes if you specify shipping charges instead of the real item value on the small green sticker of the package...
