I have a D-Link 614+, and I am using a HEX key. I found a reference on
their sight saying if you want to use encryption with Apple, you MUST
precede the key with a $ to connect. Don't know if this is of any use to
you. Like I said, I intentionally enabled WEP.

I've used that card in a 3400 and a Wallstreet with no problems, but I
never tried it under OS X. The Truemobile 1150 is a re-badged Orinoco
Gold.

don't know
Under Network ( System Preferences) -Ethernet adapter
Under TC/IP Setup, Configure-Using DCHP (do not put in ip address let
Server do that)
Under System Preferences, Wireless Config - Put in name of network ,
then hit Apply Now to activate. You should see a signal strength on
the display.
