Hello all,
I wanted to thanks both Howard Katz and Peter H for their tips
regarding upgrading my iBook's CD-rom drive to something that burns
CDs, at least. I have been away from my e-mail for several days and
this is the first chance I have had to respond. I will follow up on
your suggestions and see what I can afford to act on.
I got the iBook for $580± counting tax and the price was precisely
because the CD-rom drive was a severe limitation. The Big U's Micro
Order Center was trying to unload it on anyone desperate enough to take
it... I was that person. Now I move on to stage two of the process.
I think your help will be invaluable.
