What does an "inverter board" do on a Wallstreet II/300, 14.1"? I think that I split part of the edge of the cable on one of the two Wallstreets that I put together tonight. Now the computer seems to work okay (that's new) but the screen is really dim even with the brightness turned all the way up. I looked at the mac technical manual and found that the damaged cable goes to a device called an inverter board that fits in the bottom of the screen case.

Assuming that I ruined the cable, anyone have suggestions on where to find a used inverter board cable? This is not the cable that runs up the back of the screen. The one that I broke(?) runs only along the bottom of the screen.
