Every once in a while when I start up my Wallstreet running 10.2 my
backlight will not come on, however, when I press the brightness button once
either up or down it comes on? I haven't noticed this under OS 9 however I
rarely boot into 9 anymore. Wondering if anyone has a solution or if there's

Maybe this works:
Go into OS 9 and delete the monitor preference
reboot into jaguar and reset your monitor preferences.
lock the preference file (get info) and this will stop
