Greetings
Half of the middle row of letter keys on my Wallstreet stopped
producing yesterday- the first 7 in the row... any way to fix them?
I hooked up an external keyboard and all the letters work on that so
that's good- just clumsy...
Thanks,
Ed Z

Are the Pismo and Wallstreet keyboards exchangeable for one another or
are they physically different?
No.
If so, could one just pop off the keys on a Wallstreet keyboard and
put them on a Pismo board?
No

I don't understand why it isn't feasible as both the PowerBook Medic and
the
ebay seller I posted could send the keys through the mail. The last time I
sent a letter with a CD inside to a friend of mine in Denmark it cost less
than $5, so why can't you have them

Any girl knows a little super or nail glue will put that fingernail right
back on!
That did make me chuckle...

Quick question:
How does one best remove a key from the Wallstreet keyboard
without damaging it so that one can fit it in a different place ?
I want to move the key above Tab -| to the full stop/colon
spot as this one is missing, don't want to bugger the key trying

Just pull on them. They pop right off.

You were quite right. I used a small screwdriver. Very simple.
I just wanted to be sure.

What keys fit the Wallstreet ?
Obviously not the Kanga, but what about Lobard/Pismo ?
I know the colour would be different, but better a miscoloured
key than none at all...
PowerBook G4 Titanium ?
Just gives me a higher odds of finding a crap keyboard to nick
a couple of keys from...

You could check PowerBook Medic. They sell single keys for a
decent price.
Not really feasable as I live in Sweden...

For OS 8/9, try the excellent freeware control panel Shadow Keys from
Swiss developers

Actually, Pismo owners have also this key to the right to the spacebar, and
I believe that Lombard owners have also the same layout...

Both of my Pismo's and my 2300c have enter keys to the right of the space
bar, while my Quicksilver has a command key on each side of the space bar.
