I've got the same problem as the guy with the
Panasonic phone but I have a Pismo laptop, 400 Mhz
with a 256 MB and an internal Airport Card and a Casio
PhoneMate cordless (900 Mhz) and a DLink wireless
router (always in the next room hooked up to an IMac,
never near the phone). I think this horrible drilling
sound I get (or is it electroshock) is only during the
day, but it's frequent and totally annoying for all
concerned. I think it's only been happening since I
went wireless. I don't feel like giving any of it up?
Sometimes I pick up the speakerphone to avoid the
racket but all that takes a lot of energy (and too
much thought). Do I have to grin and bear it?
