if a Combo drive from an iBook G4 12 1ghz would work in a Pismo? Thanks. Hi Yes it will it is just a straight drop into the pismo caddy but the face plate will not fit as it is slot loading. You can make one easy enough from an old vst zip drive caddy for the pismo. -- G-Books

While Zip disks aren't what I'd call reliable storage, that's a tough price to beat. Does anyone know whether the VST Zip drives are subject to any of the design flaws (click of death, file system corruption, etc.) that plagued so many Iomega drives? i've been using vst expansion bay zip
