My $5 PowerBook just took a few hundred worth of damage.
My landlord's has botched more than a few maintenance
jobs, one of which was the obvious disrepair of the windows
and frames. It's an old house, and the wood just hasn't
stood the test of time. Earlier tonight, one of the
windows fell

What is it about landlords? I'm furious at mine right now because he's
dragging his feet on some long promised repairs. Why not put the next
couple month's rent toward that TiBook?
