I use Password security under OS 9.1 with no problems.
I, too, copied my old HD contents to my new HD,
without incident, and Password Security is working
fine right now. Did you leave Password Security ON
while doing the drive changeout? If so, you may be
hosed. If you changed brands of drives

Perhaps I should confess, I just copied my old disk to my new one, I
didn't really re-install. Is password security really not OS 9
compatible? Do I have to reinitialize my disk to get rid of it? I want to
use multiple users now rather than password
security...
