A few days ago I asked about scanning software that would make
one PDF file of multiple scans. Turns out there is a method to do
this built into Tiger, according to macosxhints. It adds an
additional step, but the price is right and it seems easy enough.
You must first scan
multiple pages to one PDF. This is not correct, but it is
a moot point since this machine refuses to.
I'm wondering if there is some economical third-party
scanning software anyone would recommend or some other work-around to
accomplish this task.
TIA
that only machines with document
feeders will scan multiple pages to one PDF. This is not correct,
but it is a moot point since this machine refuses to.

Subject: Slightly OT: Scanning Software Question
Hi All -
So does anyone know of a simple scanning program for saving images that's
compatible with 9.1, simple to use, and twain compliant for the Epson 1200
Perfection Photo scanner? Any help would be much
in this situation!
The Epson should have come with twain drivers, or Photoshop plug-ins:
she could use Graphic Converter http://www.lemkesoft.com which should
acquire images fine using either.
If the Epson softwre isn't working for some reason (there should have
been some sort of scanning software
If you work out of PhotoShop LE (should have come with the scanner) you will
be set up to do everything you asked about.
I use PhotoShop 7 with my Epson Perfection Scanner and I works great!
