Yeah, I had all kinds of problems with that setup too. Turns out Apple says specifically that you should install OS X and OS 9 in the _same_ partition. When I repartitioned and installed them both in the same partition, problems vanished. Setup is now OS X 10.2 & OS 9.2 on a beige G3 (orig 300

you probably need to run a drive repair utility, it's not so much that a particular file is damaged as it is that the directory structure on the drive is damaged. you might try just deleting the finder preferences, but you've probably got a more serious problem. reinstalling the os might or mi

Our power went out last night which naturally shut down my Beige G3. When I powered it up this morning it is stuck in some type of boot-up loop. It gets all the way to the desktop then immediately goes back to blue screen, back to desktop, blue screen, desktop, an on and on... What can I do
