Tomb 17, which is not confirmed to have a cranium in
any written source, which (Feather says) is close to
where Milik identified the find site, and which is the only
possibility of known Qumran grave excavations for being
the headless skeleton referred to by Milik ... the remains

As for the scroll fragment, had the Antiquities Authority been notified by law that the fragment came from an illegal excavation, those looting the caves would have been arrested and the sum of $3,000 could have been saved. Look for more looting in the near future once the word gets out that scroll
