Cannot Fax from G4 MDD!

I had a similar problem with the Apple Superdrive that came with my QS- it would read silver (pressed) DVDs and CDs, would refuse to read burned DVDs, or burn blank DVDs. It would burn and read CDs just fine, it just had trouble with DVDs. I think the lasers on the old optical drives just wear

My housemate's PowerBook G4 (Tiger), is connected to our lan by either cat5 or wi-fi... In the Sharing system preferences pane, the name is karens-powerbook. And the text displayed when you activate sharing says to use karens-powerbook.home. Regular file sharing works fine - the PB

Restart not working on PowerMac G5

The machine shuts down normally and it boots up fine. However, if it is running and I use Restart command from Apple Menu, it restarts as far as the chime and nothing further. I then have to shut off using power switch and then start. Starting in Single User mode and typing reboot, the

To solve the VHS to DVD task, I decided on the more expensive ADVC-300 which functions externally to my Quicksilver 2002 Dual 1GHz under 10.5.8, and communicates via FW400. Along with Final Cut Express 4 to Capture and add Chapters, I needed the iDVD that comes in iLife 09. Researching
