Update:
After I let it rest for a while, it chimed. I inserted a OS 9.1
generic install that I found, and it booted to the desktop. But it's
not showing the HDD, so I guess either the ATA connection or the HDD
itself is toast. I'll check with a different drive tomorrow and will
post results.
