I think your answer is in the Finder View menu. Choose Show View Options &
check the box for Show Icon Preview.

Save your movie. It'll be .m4v.
Launch iDVDIgnore the project window.
Go to Menu Bar > File > OneStep DVD from Movie
In the window that opens, select your movie.
Click on Import, then Insert a blank DVD
Only problem is I don't know how or if you can name the DVD.
