i have tiger with no problem on da 466 mhz - but i had some ramchips that
had to be replaced when upgrading to 10.3.9 or the installer would make the
same spit out before ready install or variation of the same depending on
what os version was installed, some would not even boot.

I have a similair noise from my da g4 headphone socket, it comes from bended
not fitting headphone miniplugs or damaged socket (??) that makes a tiney
groundloop, changed plug or socket and the noise went away, griffin sucks,
in my opinion though.

secind hand bought - Its not able to start in os 9 it freezes just before
the extensionparade - startin from original g4 9.2.2 install cd or from a
copied from my D A g4, same thing - with or without extensions off - it
stops just before extension load,
works flawless with os X 2 x 867 mhz - 1.5

are the psus interchangeable with older 2 x 867 mhz mdd psu ??
the model i want to use it in is the 1.25 mhz year 2003 167 mhz bus 400 fw,
